Content creation is the key to building your website business and increasing traffic to your website and video dominates all forms of content. Here is a plan to video marketing in 5 easy steps.

Even Google is indexing videos with universal search from such sites as Google video and You Tube. You want your video in Google search results. When you get your video in Google you can make a lot of money with your video submissions. Video content is the future of the internet. When you can create and publish effective video broadcasts you will bring a flood of money into your bank account.

The first step is to have an effective video. If you have a video of you showing your home office this video is no where as effective as having a video of your live demonstration of your product or another person’s product. So use common sense and create a video that will create interest in your product promotion. Your goal with video marketing is to get a lot of traffic to your website or to another person’s website that is your affiliate product or products you are promoting.

Step two. Some of the videos that generate a great deal of traffic are controversial, over the top, passionate and personal. Your video can even be opinionated as long as you educate the viewer on what you want to get across to them.

The third step is to provide a ton of useful knowledge that leaves your viewer hanging on because the message is incomplete. This is like article marketing where you whet the viewers appetite for more information.

Step four. You need to get familiar with You Tube. It is the 800 pound gorilla, the big purple elephant in the middle of the room, when it comes to video marketing. There are literally thousands of videos in any one category. You will see this when you go to You Tube and look up in the search results the category you plan to list your video in. This being the case you want your video to shine above the rest. Start by going to the category that you want to promote in and start watching the videos that have a very high view content. Take notes on what you see. These are the videos that are clearly doing very well.

Step five is to build a cheat sheet, a summary of the notes you took down from your video watching. Watch for videos that have the over the top message or the passionate appeal. You will see what you need to do for you to get the same high view results for your video. You can always re do your video so this is not filmed in stone by any means.

You say you would not want to be filmed in a video or have someone staring in your video? You can make an effective video that is controversial, over the top, or passionate with a screen capture software just as you can if you filmed a real life movie.
